Cake Ingredients
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix - make as instructed on the box
- 1 cup almond slices
- 16 oz Cream of coconut
Topping
- 1 cup coconut flakes
- 8 oz cool whip
Baking Directions
- Make cake as instructed on the box.
- Spray baking dish with baking spray
- Pour cake mix into baking dish
- Add almond slices to the top
- Bake as instructed on the box
- While the cake is still hot poke holes in cake and pour cream of coconut over cake
Topping Directions
- Toast coconut on a baking sheet. Broil on high until toasted to desired color.
- Mix half of toasted coconut with cool whip.
- Spread on cake
- Garnish the top with the rest of the toasted coconut.
