Apple Cinamon Bread

Apple Cinamon Bread

This week I really wanted to make something that reminded me of the Fall season and apples. I found this recipe and I decided to make it. The only kind of bread I've made before is banana nut bread. This apple cinnamon bread makes a good breakfast. It would also be great as muffins if you don't have a loaf pan.

Step one: Mix together all the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Whisk them together.

Step Two: Mix together the wet ingredients: butter, eggs, vanilla and milk. Blend together.

Step Three: Mix together dry and wet ingredients.

Step Four: Mix apples, sugar and cinnamon. I used Granny Smith apples because they are my families' favorite apples.

Step Five: Grease 9x5 loaf pan. Put half of the batter into pan. Place half the apple mixture on top of the batter in pan. Then repeat.

😻😺🙀Mishaps are my favorite 🙀😺😻
When I was mixing the wet ingredients, I tried to use a whisk but my butter wasn't melted enough for that. I had to use the mixer.

When I was baking I had a little helper.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for the apple mixture)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for the apple mixture)

Directions

  • Preheat 350 degrees
  • In a medium bowl mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, cinnamon
  • In a large bowl mix the wet ingredients: eggs, butter, milk and vanilla extract
  • Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients
  • In a separate bowl, mix apples, sugar and cinnamon.
  • Grease a 9x5 loaf pan, pour in half of the batter, then layer about half of the apple mixture on top. Pour the remaining batter and then top with apple mixture.
  • Bake 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.

Enjoy!!
