This is a cookie I've never baked before, but they turned out great. They may not look great but they tasted it. Being totally honest, it had a lot of steps and towards the end I was getting tired, which is my fault for making them a little late in the evening. After tasting them, I would definitely make them again and maybe add some pecans. I've seen these cookies called Twix cookies and that's a good comparison. If I add pecans then it would be similar to turtle candy.
The recipe is at the bottom.
**Another option is to roll out the dough and use a round cookie cutter.
