Pecan Pound Cake

Pecan Pound Cake

Another week another recipe. This week's recipe I've made before, but it was before blogging. It's an easy recipe. If you like pound cake and pecans then you'll love it.

  • The recipe is at the bottom of the page.

Step one: In a large bowl mix butter and sugar (not shown). Add eggs one at a time. Then add in vanilla.

Step two: In a medium bowl combine dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt

Step three: Blend in dry ingredients and sour cream. Alternating them into batter. Then mix in pecans.

Step four: Make filling - combine the ingredients (butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans)

Step five: In a bundt pan, half batter then filling and top with the rest of the filling

Step six:  Bake at 325 for 60-70 minutes. Enjoy

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 325
  • In a large bowl, mix butter and sugar
  • Add eggs one at a time
