This week's desert didn't turn out as planned. It tasted great but it doesn't look great. I'm not sure if this is something I'd make again, but maybe once I have more baking experience, I might give it another try. Time will tell on this one.

Step one: Prepare peanut butter dough. Mix together peanut butter, brown sugar and butter.
Step two: Add in egg and vanilla.
Step three: Mix together dry ingredients: flour, salt and baking powder
Step four: Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Then set aside.
Step five: Prepare brown dough. Mix together butter and sugar.
Step six: Add in cocoa powder
Step seven: Add in egg and vanilla
Step eight: Mix dry ingredients together: flour, salt and baking powder
Step nine: Mix in chocolate chips
Step ten: Chill dough for 30 minutes
On a cookie sheet (somehow) add dough and swirl with a toothpick.
* I was unsuccessful with this step.

Ingredients: Peanut Butter Dough
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Ingredients: Brownie Dough
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat 350 degrees
- Prepare peanut butter dough
- Mix together: peanut butter, butter and brown sugar
- Add egg and vanilla
- Mix in the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda and salt
- Prepare the brownie dough
- Mix together butter and sugar
- Add in cocoa powder, egg and vanilla
- Mix in dry ingredients: flour, baking powder and salt
- Chill dough for 30 minutes
- Scoop and swirl together on a baking sheet using a toothpick (I wasn't able to figure out this part of the recipe.)
- Bake for 9 - 11 minutes
